1. Product description
Visco AC 400 is a highly elastic, multipurpose waterproofing membrane made from an improved one-component water-based Polyurethane-Acrylic formula. It excels at covering cracks, offers excellent adhesion, and provides exceptional UV resistance.
2. Applications
Visco AC 400 is designed to waterproof and protect mortar and concrete in various construction projects. It is ideal for:
- Finished color waterproofing paint for exterior walls.
- Walls, basement floors, outdoor facades, vertical walls, and parapets.
- Canopies, balconies, terraces, rooftop floors, toilet floors, metal roofs, and more.
- Sealing leaks in roof nail holes, concrete cracks, joints, and tile grout.
- Covering cracks and fissures smaller than 1 mm to prevent leakage.
- Heat-reflective coating for buildings.

4. Product Information

6. Application Instructions
a. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is flat, free of water accumulation, with a minimum slope of 1%. It should be clean and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. The maximum moisture content should not exceed 5%. For concrete surfaces, a minimum compressive strength of 25 MPa is required, and the surface must be solid and free of voids or impurities. All contaminants should be removed using suitable mechanical methods.
b. Material Preparation: Mix the material thoroughly using a mixer for 3 minutes at 400 RPM before application. This step is crucial as it significantly affects the uniformity of the product quality.
c. Application:
- Standard System: Total Coverage: 1.0 kg/m² for 3 layers
- Primer Coat: Dilute with 10% water to create a primer coat. Apply evenly at a rate of 0.3 kg/m².
- Top Coat: Use a roller, brush, or spray to apply the top coat evenly at a rate of 0.35 kg/m² for each layer. A minimum of 2 layers is recommended.
- Drying Time: Allow 4-24 hours before applying the next layer, depending on environmental temperature.
d. Reinforced System:
- Total Coverage: 1.7 kg/m² for 4 layers
- Primer Coat: Dilute with clean water at a ratio of 10% and apply evenly using a roller, brush, or spray at a rate of approximately 0.3 kg/m².
- First Top Coat: Apply the first top coat evenly using a roller, brush, or spray at a rate of 0.7 kg/m².
- Reinforcement Mesh: Place the reinforcement mesh evenly over the surface simultaneously with the application of the first layer.
- Second Top Coat: Apply the second top coat evenly using a roller, brush, or spray at a rate of 0.7 kg/m².
- Drying Time: Allow 4-24 hours before applying the next layer, depending on environmental conditions.
